Q. Why was my account deleted?
A. You must have proven yourself to be a rather "useless member". If you signed up on $site_title, then proceeded in not uploading a picture, then also proceeded in unsubscribing from the "You forgot to upload a picture" daily reminder emails, you are fairly useless as far as members go. "Useless members" are pointless in having in the database, so you were removed. Thanks for nothing, really.. If you've changed your mind and seriously want to participate.. then feel free to signup again.. but this time make sure to upload a picture, so you don't waste our time.. or yours.
Q. Why did you deny my new image I just uploaded?
A. You probably uploaded some bogus image.. In case you're dumb or just didn't read and understand the rules on the image upload page, non-amateur pics, images of your cat or dog, your favorite anime or cartoon characters, group pictures, and of course porn are not allowed. Sorry.. as great as they would look, no model shots either. Get out your webcam, take a picture of yourself in an "attractive" sort of pose, with at least some clothes on, and upload it.. that's what is wanted. Half the fun of image rating is leaving something for the viewer's imagination! Also make sure your image is no bigger than 640x480 pixels in size and no bigger than 100K in file size. Reduce it down a little first if you need to.
Q. Why do you ask me to bookmark your site every page I go to?
A. It seems you have cookies disabled in your browser. Visitors to $site_title are asked to bookmark the site only once, then a cookie is set so it is then known that you have already been asked. If you have cookies disabled, then the code that runs $site_title thinks it has never asked you for the bookmark at all, so then it proceeds to ask again. The solution is to re-enable cookies in your web browser like a normal web surfer and you should be OK. It doesn't really matter what you may have heard before.. cookies are not evil.
Q. Why don't the stats update when I vote on an image, surely my vote must change the average a little??
A. Your vote is indeed collected and added to the average, that is true. However you may not notice a change in the stats for up to an hour. Much of the frontpage stats html is cached for speed, and will update when it is time to be updated, automatically.. please be patient.
